Places to Discover
The Town & Its Marina
Its 12 Beaches
L’Anglade
The largest and liveliest, thanks to its summer beach restaurants—hence its nickname “the trendy one”. You’ll love its fine sand, south-facing aspect, and the lovely boardwalk known as “les planches”.
La Grande Plage
Facing the Golden Isles, this beach—nicknamed “the Family One”—lies in the town centre, just steps from the shops. Lined with palm trees and parasols, it’s ideal for everyone.
St Clair
Also called “the Pearl” for its crystal-clear waters, this small hamlet rivals its neighbours. Its charming square is a favourite for pétanque players. Sun seekers will unwind on loungers, while the more adventurous can set off to discover “La Baleine”…
La Fossette
Nestled in greenery and shaded by pines, this fine sandy beach remains unspoilt—its secret to lasting charm. Reach it via the Coastal Path or a small trail; it’s quieter than the previous ones.
Aiguebelle
If you’re after small coves and golden sand, “the Charmer” is for you. Masks and snorkels are highly recommended to discover its underwater wonders!
Jean Blanc
Accessible only by stairs—which offer a breathtaking view—“the Silver Jewel” is a coastal marvel. Its natural beach surrounded by vegetation, white sand, and limpid waters make it a true paradise…
L’Éléphant
The most “Wild” and the hardest to reach, this magnificent beach is hidden and accessible only from Jean Blanc beach. At the end: silver sand and crystal-clear waters—scenery worthy of the Pacific Islands.
Le Rossignol
Looking for a tiny wild cove for an all-over tan? Look no further. Discover “the Secret One”, hidden among the pines…
Le Layet
Between small coves and beaches, enjoy this beautiful wild, discreet spot. Naturists will appreciate its natural privacy. Seafood lovers will delight in its little feet-in-the-water restaurant…
Cavalière
Watersports fans will love “the Sporty One”: paddleboarding, jet skiing, parasailing, pedal boats—there’s something for every taste. Plus plenty of beach clubs for those less inclined to exert themselves!
Cap Nègre
You’ll find it just after Cavalière via small pedestrian paths among the rocks. A beautiful fine-sand beach, surprising for its red and ochre tones—the charm of “the Peaceful One”.
Pramousquier
The black-and-white sand of “the Mysterious One” will surprise you in every season. The last beach in Le Lavandou, it’s wonderfully calm—perfect for timeless relaxation.
